Description

A prehistoric site in Ireland, Brú na Bóinne (including Newgrange, Knowth, and Dowth) is older than the Pyramids. These Neolithic passage tombs are aligned with the solstices and are a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Modern Remains

The site of Brugh Riogh is largely unexcavated, though some features like mounds and earthworks remain visible. These remnants, while not as well-preserved as other Irish royal sites, still attract interest from those exploring Ireland's ancient royal heritage. Today, it is mainly a symbolic and historical location rather than an active archaeological site.
