Tututepec (also known as Yucu Dzaa) was the capital of the Mixtec civilization from the 11th century CE until the 16th century CE. Located in the state of Oaxaca, this ancient city was a political and cultural hub, known for its impressive architecture and advanced engineering. It was one of the most powerful Mixtec centers before the arrival of the Spanish.
