Description
Pesaro was an important city in the Duchy of Urbino, located on the Adriatic coast of central Italy. It was a prominent urban center under the rule of the Montefeltro family, particularly during the reign of Federico da Montefeltro in the 15th century. The city was known for its strategic location, thriving economy, and significant cultural and artistic contributions, becoming a hub of the Renaissance. It was also the birthplace of the famous composer Gioachino Rossini.
