Description

Omsk, located in southwestern Siberia, became the administrative center of the anti-Bolshevik White Movement during the Russian Civil War (1918–1920). It briefly served as the capital of the Russian State under Admiral Alexander Kolchak, who declared himself Supreme Ruler of Russia.

Modern Remains

Modern Omsk is a major city in Russia, with little remaining from the White Movement era besides plaques and museum exhibits. Some historic buildings used by the Kolchak government still stand, including administrative structures and former military sites, now repurposed for civilian use.
