"Today, Tell Brak is an important archaeological site. Excavations have revealed temples, administrative buildings, and the ""Eye Temple,"" filled with thousands of eye-shaped idols. While the site has suffered damage in recent conflicts, it remains a key source of knowledge about prehistoric and early historic Mesopotamian civilizations."
