Modern Remains

Today, Modena retains much of its historic character. The Ducal Palace, once the seat of Este power, is now home to the Italian Military Academy. The city also boasts UNESCO-listed Romanesque architecture, including Modena Cathedral, and remains a cultural hub known for its cuisine, music, and automotive heritage (home to Ferrari).
