Description
Longvek was the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia during the 16th century, specifically under the reign of King Satha and later his successor, King Barom Reachea II. Located near the Tonle Sap River in central Cambodia, it served as a political and cultural hub during a turbulent period in Cambodian history.
Modern Remains
Today, Longvek is an archaeological site in Cambodia. The ruins include remnants of temples, walls, and other structures that reflect the kingdom's former grandeur.
