Modern Remains
Today, Huế remains a UNESCO World Heritage site, preserving many landmarks from the Nguyễn dynasty, including the Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda, and several royal tombs. The Imperial City of Huế, with its gates, temples, and palaces, continues to showcase the grandeur of the Nguyễn dynasty’s architectural style. Despite damage during the Vietnam War, ongoing restoration efforts have helped maintain the city as a symbol of Vietnam's rich imperial history.
