Modern Remains

The site of Tell Asmar has yielded temples, palaces, and the famous “Tell Asmar Hoard” of votive statues. These artifacts provide rich insights into Eshnunna’s religious practices and political structures. Though largely in ruins, the site remains a key source for understanding early Mesopotamian law, art, and urban life.
