Modern Remains

Today, Ouara Ruins are an important archaeological site, though much of it has eroded over time. Visitors can explore remnants of ancient walls, gateways, and foundations of structures that reflect the kingdom’s architectural style. The nearby Abéché region offers additional cultural sites, including the National Museum of Chad. The ruins, though in a state of decay, provide a fascinating glimpse into the past.
